Cake Topper Membership Agreement & Important Details

By subscribing to the Cake Topper Membership, you agree to the following terms and policies.

Membership Billing

Memberships are billed monthly on the date you originally subscribed. Your membership will automatically renew each month unless canceled prior to your billing date.

If you wish to cancel your membership, you must do so before your next billing date. Refunds will not be issued for forgotten cancellations or unused membership periods.

Topper Credits & Rollover

Each membership tier includes a set number of topper credits per month.

If you do not use all of your topper credits during the month, unused credits will roll over to the following month.

Please note:

Rollover does not apply to Tier 6 memberships since it is unlimited.

Design Approval

Members will receive a mockup for approval before production begins when applicable.

Once a design mockup has been approved, no additional redesigns or changes can be made. Please ensure all spelling, colors, and details are correct before approving your design.

Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround time for cake toppers is 72 hours from the time the design is approved.

In some cases, same-day or rush orders may be available, but this is not guaranteed and depends on current order volume.

We recommend submitting topper requests several days before they are needed to ensure timely completion.

Pickup & Delivery

Topper pickups are located in the Lewis Main (New Hillside) area.

Delivery may be available as an optional add-on depending on location and availability.

Resale Policy

Cake toppers created through this membership may not be resold as standalone products under another brand or business name.

However, this policy does not apply to bakers or businesses using the toppers as part of their finished cake products. Bakers are welcome to include the topper in their cake pricing or charge customers accordingly.

Branding

All cake toppers will include Kay’s branding on the back. This helps ensure brand authenticity and protects the originality of our designs.

Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of our products, all membership payments and topper orders are non-refundable.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • missed billing cancellations
  • unused topper credits
  • approved designs that have already entered production

Membership Abuse

Memberships are intended for fair and reasonable use.

Kay’s reserves the right to pause, limit, or terminate a membership if excessive order volume, misuse of the membership, or violation of these terms occurs.

Policy Updates

Kay’s reserves the right to update membership policies as needed. Members will be notified if significant changes are made.

Order Queue

Membership orders are completed in the order they are received. Being a member does not guarantee immediate production, but members receive priority over non-member orders.

Rush Requests

Rush requests may be available depending on availability but are not guaranteed.

File Ownership

All designs created by Kay’s remain the intellectual property of Kay’s and may not be copied, reproduced, or used for other products without permission.

Membership Pricing Changes

Kay’s reserves the right to adjust membership pricing in the future as business costs, materials, and demand change.

If membership pricing is updated, current members will receive at least 60 days notice before any price changes take effect. This allows members time to review the updated pricing and decide whether they would like to continue their membership.

Any pricing changes will only apply to future billing cycles after the notice period and will not affect already completed billing periods.

There is a maximum of 5 toppers per day per member unless otherwise approved.

How does the cake topper membership work?

Once you subscribe, your membership renews monthly and topper credits are added to your account. You can use these credits anytime during the month to request custom cake toppers. Simply submit your design request and your topper will be created for pickup or delivery.

What are topper credits?

Topper credits are the units used to redeem cake toppers through the membership. Each topper requires a certain number of credits depending on the style (Basic, Standard, or Deluxe). Your monthly membership automatically adds credits to your account.

Do unused topper credits roll over?

Yes, unused credits roll over to the next month!

How do I request a topper?

Members can submit topper requests through the member portal or request form. Once your request is submitted, we will design and produce your topper based on your membership credits.

How far in advance should I request toppers?

We recommend submitting topper requests at least 3–5 days in advance of when you need them. Rush requests may be limited depending on availability.

Can I order more toppers than my monthly tier?

Of course! Though, you will have to pay the normal price for them.

Where do I pick up my toppers?

Must have base access for pickup! I am located on Lewis Main (New Hillside area). Pickup details will be sent once your topper is ready.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes! Delivery is available as an add-on for members within select areas. Delivery pricing depends on your location.

Can I change my membership tier?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time. Changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

Yes! You can cancel your membership anytime through your account portal. Your membership will remain active until the end of your billing period. Unfortunately, refunds are not possible in the event you forget to cancel your membership prior to your billing date.

Is this membership only for bakers?

This membership was designed for bakers and small businesses that frequently need cake toppers, but anyone who regularly orders toppers is welcome to join.
